~Psalm 121~ Have a Happy and Blessed New Year!!!

~Psalm 121~

1. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

May you all have a Blessed and Happy New Year! 🙂

Amish/Quaker Christian Fiction

I rarely read Amish fiction, but when I do read Amish fiction I prefer to have something  in the plot that is totally different  that your average generic Amish fiction story. No offense to any Amish fiction readers. That’s just my opinion. But here are some very good ones that I’ve read this year.

Love in a Broken Vessel

Love in a Broken Vessel by Mesu Andrews

Book rating: 5 out of 5 stars

I really, really loved reading this book! It was the best! I loved how Mesu Andrews really

made the story seem as if it was something that COULD’VE happened, and it wasn’t something that was way out there like some Biblical fiction writers tend to do .  It really showed

how that  God will love  us over and over  us even when we sometimes make the same crazy mistakes over and over!

I will cherish this story always! 🙂
