Stay Tuned!!~A Jane Austen Inspired Week!~

Jane Austen really did have high standards. Ladies, pass on the Wickham...wait for the Darcy. (He need not have an estate, but he should be of good character!!!)                                                                                                            So do I! 😉Pride and Prejudice- oh, how i love this movie.                                                                                                                             P&P-2005Pride-and-Prejudice-1995-pride-and-prejudice-1995-16523905-299-212.jpg (299×212)                                                                                                                                    P&P-1995

    1. You know there is such a rift with the fans of Jane Austen on that very topic! I will say that I like the P&P(2005) version. The scenery and the costumes on that movie stand out more to me. But to me for some reason, the Mr.Darcy on the 2005 version didn’t really do a good job of portraying the Mr. Darcy in the novel. The Mr. Darcy on the 1995 version looks older than what I imagined what the “real” Mr. Darcy would have looked like. That’s just me. Which one is your favorite? 🙂

      1. I like the 1995 version the best! I thought is stuck to the book more than the 2005 version did. The 1995 version seemed to be more word for word according to the book. But the 2005 was good to, just not my favorite. 🙂

The book, I think, is really the best. No movie can really portray what Jane Austen did in her novel, Pride and Prejudice! So excited for your posts this week! 🙂 Austen is my ultimate favorite author!!

    1. Well I haven’t read all of her books yet so I can only say that Jane Austen’s P&P is my absolute favorite of her books for now. I can’t wait to read the rest of her books!
