Tessa Gregory is nothing if not tenacious. Denied a position as a horticulturalist at prestigious Como Park in Saint Paul, she is not above a little benevolent deception in order to get the park superintendent to change his mind and hire her. She plans to infiltrate the world of wealthy and influential people in hopes of drumming up financial support for a world-class conservatory. But before she can put those plans into action, she meets Reese King, a handsome gardener at Como Park–and a major distraction. Still, Reese might be the key to achieving her dream. But is his goal to help her . . . or to capture her heart?
Against a lush backdrop of early twentieth century Saint Paul, Minnesota, Lorna Seilstad weaves a sweet and sassy story that is sure to please. Tessa’s young romance opens like a rose, stealing readers’ hearts and filling their senses with the intoxicating fragrance of dreams come true.

Book # 3 (The Gregory Sisters)
Oh my goodness! Wow! This.Book.Was.So.Good!! I must say that the Gregory Sisters has won a special place in my heart and it is going to be so sad to see the series end. 😦
I was overly impressed by this book because usually by the second or third book in a series the book may not be all that I expect it to be. It was not so with this book and for that I’m very thankful. I also must say that the hat thing going on was pretty awesome and the book covers were spectacular.
I loved, loved Tessa’s character in this novel. She was just a kaleidoscope of goodness. Her wit and charm was very interesting to read about. Her character had so much depth that is was amazing. She has to be one of my favorite heroines for this year.
Reese, the hero was a very charming and handsome young man willing to make his mark upon the world. I liked his ambition and determination. Lorna Seilstad knows how to create heroes that are so romantic and swoon worthy that it’s unbelievable. Reese in this novel was no less charming. LOVED HIM!!
The writing was concise, humorous, and romantic to read. I liked catching up with the other characters who were introduced in the first and second books in this series as well. Overall, this book was the icing on the cake for me. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store. I highly recommend this book! 🙂
I didn’t realize that I had posted my reviews for the other two books in the series! You can check them out below. 🙂
