Special Sundays!~Psalms 133:1-3

Psalm 133:1:

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.~ Psalms 133:1-3

Have a blessed week!! 🙂

Special Sundays!~Psalms 139~

Hey everyone! This chapter really inspired me and I hope you all enjoy it! Have a great week!

"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." - Psalm 139:14:

~Psalm 139~

O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.

Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

~Psalm 121~ Have a Happy and Blessed New Year!!!

~Psalm 121~

1. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

May you all have a Blessed and Happy New Year! 🙂

~A Psalm in My Heart Fridays~ + Know Who You Are~

Well, today November 1! I’m loving the weather, it’s not too cold or too hot. Lovin’ it! God is good all the time!

Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.-Psalm 111:1

His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.-Psalm 111:3

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.-Psalm 111:5

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.-Psalm 113:9

I really thought that the video at the bottom of this post was so cute. Check it out if you haven’t watched it. Also, it really gave me a good picture of how a christian is supposed to be treating the devil. The enemy may look like a big scary wolf with a whole lot of power and he LOOKS as IF he could scare the life out of you! But if you as a son or daughter of God know where you stand, nothing, I mean NOTHING, can overcome you because God is on your side! We have always heard of the stories where the wolf is eating the sheep but whenever have you heard of a sheep scaring a wolf away? At least I haven’t heard of one. 🙂  Well, the devil may  think that he has power over me but he’s a defeated enemy! So, boo devil! I’m taking back everything that God has promised me and you CAN’T have it! I know who I am! Everything that God gave to me is mine and you CAN’T have it!  The power comes with your own personal revelation of knowing who you really are. Know who you are so that you can be bold against the devil and take back all of the territory that belongs to you. Ask God to confirm your position so that when the time of testing comes you’ll be able to have faith and confidence in who God made you to be.

Now with the video, you don’t have to watch all of it. I don’t know if anybody out there has seen it, but I decided to write about it because I thought it was really neat.  The whole video is good but you can just watch the first part of it just to get the idea. Enjoy! 🙂

The Lord is my Shepherd — THAT’S RELATIONSHIP!
I shall not be in want — THAT’S SUPPLY!

He makes me lie down in green pastures, — THAT’S REST!

He leads me beside quiet waters, — THAT’S REFRESHMENT!

He restores my soul — THAT’S HEALING!

He guides me in paths of righteousness — THAT’S GUIDANCE!

For His name sake. — THAT’S PURPOSE!

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, — THAT’S TESTING!

I will fear no evil, — THAT’S PROTECTION!

For you are with me; — THAT’S FAITHFULNESS!

Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. — THAT’S DISCIPLINE!

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies .— THAT’S HOPE!

You anoint my head with oil; — THAT’S CONSECRATION!

My cup overflows — THAT’S ABUNDANCE!

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, — THAT’S BLESSING!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord — THAT’S SECURITY!

Forever — THAT’S ETERNITY!!!!

~I love the 23 Psalm! This chapter in the Bible along with other great encouraging scriptures, reminds me of the fact that there’s really no need to worry when the Great Shepherd Himself has everything in my life under His control. Yes, I know sometimes there are situations in our lives that arise and we feel that we cannot hold on another day. But let me encourage you to keep holding on to God’s unchanging hand because He has confidence in you! If He brought you to it, He’ll bring you through it!-
